Privacy policy

This is an information site. We do not run accounts, contact forms, comment systems or newsletter sign-ups, and we do not ask you for personal data.

Cookies and affiliate tracking

Every page loads a tracking script from our affiliate tracking provider (RedTrack, served from track.trackwithlove.com). It records that you visited and whether you clicked through to the seller, so that we can be paid a commission if you buy. To do this it sets cookies in your browser, including rtkclickid-store (a click identifier) and _fbp (a Meta/Facebook advertising identifier), and sends technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page you came from to the provider.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site still works without them.

Server logs

Our web server automatically records technical data when you visit (IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are kept for a limited period.

The seller

Buttons marked as advertising take you to the seller via the tracking provider. The provider and the seller process your data under their own privacy policies, which you should read before buying.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to delete it, and object to tracking. Because the tracking data is held by the provider, you can also contact them directly. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
